Lina Cruz
Two time Dora Mavor Moore Award recipient (Outstanding Original Choreography category), 2012 and 2017, and nominated for the same award in 2015, Lina Cruz received as well a second place award at the Festival des arts de Saint-Sauveur International Choreographic Competition in 1998 (Québec). In addition to her personal research in creation, she has collaborated as a choreographer with l'Atelier lyrique de l'Opéra de Montréal and with the contemporary opera company Chants libres on several occasions. She also creates for multidisciplinary shows, integrating dance with visual arts, poetry, theatre, classical and experimental orchestral concerts and song recitals. She founded Productions Fila 13 in 2003.
Geneviève Robitaille
After studying visual arts (Université Laval), Geneviève Robitaille completed her professional training at L'École de Danse de Québec (2015). She has been working with Lina Cruz since 2016, with whom she dances the solo Tic-Tac Party and the group piece Morphs. Geneviève has participated in Alan Lake’s Jellyfish Cree, and has taken on a role in Daniel Léveillé’s Solitudes Duos. She will take part in the new creations of Catherine Gaudet and Fleuve Espace Danse. She has also collaborated with Social Growl Dance, Martin Messier, Jacynthe Carrier, Parts+Labour_Danse, Morgane Le Tiec, the dance company Sursaut and Kimberley De Jong. In parallel to performing for other artists, she creates links between visual arts and dance through personal research in multidisciplinary art.
Philippe Noireaut
Composer, singer-songwriter and versatile musician, Noireaut has recorded numerous piano recitals, jazz concerts and three Galas for Radio Canada (radio and television), including a tribute to Gilles Vigneault. Grand Prix de la Socan (1995), Noireaut creates song shows, often with a musical, literary and theatrical approach; these shows have been presented in Quebec, Canada, Europe and the Alliances françaises network in China and Ireland. For Renée Claude, he made the arrangements and the musical acompagnement of the album «On a marché sur l’amour», a tribute to Léo Ferré, album recipient of the prestigious Charles Cros Award (France). In 2012, he received the Dora Mavor Moore Award for the music of «Soupe du jour» and, in 2017, a nomination for the same award for the music of “Ylem”, both choreographies by Lina Cruz.
