Choreographer/s | Simran Sachar
Name of piece | ACT TWENTY FIVE
Venue | Firehall Arts Centre Courtyard

Act Twenty Five is a choreographic work channeled through the dance forms of Waacking and Contemporary, accompanied by live music. This work takes place during the final act of love, Grief. An entity moves across the stage in hopes of reconnecting with the ghost of someone familiar. Act Twenty Five explores the complexity of the duality of relief and grief in a South Asian, intergenerational household, and how even after our loved ones pass away, acts of service continue to bring us closer to touching the veil.
